Getting started

Two minutes from download to working voice commands.

1. Install the resource

Drop the stratis-voice folder into your resources/ directory.

Add this line to your server.cfg:

ensure stratis-voice

2. Get an API token

Sign up at the speech-to-text provider page linked in your purchase email. The free tier gives you 2000 transcriptions per day at zero cost.

Copy your token. It looks like gsk_abc123....

3. Paste the token

Open server/config.lua and set:

ServerConfig.GroqToken = 'gsk_paste_your_token_here'

4. Restart the resource

Run restart stratis-voice in your server console. You should see:

[stratis-voice] Server v2 started | Groq=YES | PerPlayer/day=50 | ServerCap/day=2000

If Groq=NO, your token is wrong or empty.

5. Try it

Join your server. Press F7 to enable voice mode. The microphone icon appears bottom right with a soft green glow. Hold N and say "hands up". Release.

Your character should put their hands up about 300 milliseconds later.

6. Customize

The default actions are hands up, engine on, engine off. Edit shared/config.lua to add your own. See the voice commands guide.
