Description
The Probes
- Two barbed probes per shot, fired with the real 8° spread between top and bottom
- True-scale nickel probes in three styles, with no lettering or branding
- Probes stick in players and NPCs, or land and lie where they fall on a miss
- They stay in the target for 60 seconds after the wires go, or until someone pulls them out
The Wires
- A real 3D coiled wire, not a flat line, with the coil defined up close
- Wires sag with gravity and lie on the ground instead of floating or sinking into it
- 25 ft (7.6 m) wire on the stock stun gun, 35 ft on the MP stun gun, set per weapon
- Wires snap when stretched past their length, end when the officer holsters, and time out after 30 seconds
The Debris
- Both blast doors kick out of the cartridge on every shot
- AFID confetti tags scatter on the ground, just like the real thing
- The spent cartridge drops when the shot is done
- Up to 2 live wire sets per shooter, so nothing piles up
Works With Every Taser
- The stock stun gun and the MP stun gun work out of the box
- Add-on tasers are detected automatically from their damage type
- Force any weapon in or out, or give it its own wire length and probe style, in the config
Built Right
- Fully synced: everyone nearby sees the same probes, wires and debris
- Nothing runs per frame while nobody has probes out
- Wires stream full detail near the camera and thin lines further away
- Server-side checks on every shot: ownership, weapon, range and rate limits
- Fully standalone, no framework needed
